Meaning

保重，指注意身体健康，多用于分别时请对方多加保重。

Take care of oneself, often used when parting to ask the other to take care.

用于分别时或书信结尾，表达对对方的关心和祝福。也可以用于提醒别人注意身体。

Used when parting or at the end of letters to express care and good wishes. It can also be used to remind someone to take care of their health.

1 你一个人在外地要保重身体。 (You should take care of yourself when you are alone in a foreign place.)
2 父母打电话总是叮嘱我要保重。 (My parents always tell me to take care when they call.)
3 这次出差时间很长，你一定要好好保重。 (This business trip is long, so you must take good care of yourself.)
4 分别时，朋友对我说：“保重！” (When parting, my friend said to me: 'Take care!')
5 在信中，他写道：“望多保重。” (In the letter, he wrote: 'Hope you take care of yourself.')
