Meaning

指以非真实的理由来推托或掩饰真实意图。

An excuse or pretext used to avoid doing something or to hide the real reason.

通常用作名词，表示找理由推卸责任或逃避某事；也可作动词，但较少用。

Usually used as a noun to indicate making excuses to shirk responsibility or avoid something; can also be used as a verb but less common.
