Often used to describe something uncommon, or to refer to someone with limited experience (as in '少见多怪').

1 这种鸟在我们这里很常见，但在北方就很少见。（This kind of bird is very common here, but is rare in the north.）
2 你这么轻易就放弃，真是少见。（It's rare to see you give up so easily.）
3 少见多怪，别这么大惊小怪的。（You're making a fuss over something common; don't be so surprised.）
