Definition

指一周中除周末（星期六和星期日）以外的日子，通常为星期一至星期五，也指按照法律规定应当工作的日子。

Refers to days of the week other than weekends (Saturday and Sunday), usually Monday to Friday; also refers to days designated for work by law.

Usage

用于描述上班、上学等日常活动发生的日子，与休息日或节假日相对。

Used to describe days when regular work, school, or other daily activities occur, as opposed to rest days or holidays.
