A series of battles conducted according to a unified operational plan in a certain direction and time to achieve a specific strategic goal.

Usage

通常指大规模的军事行动,也可比喻为完成某项重大任务而进行的系统性努力或斗争。

Usually refers to large-scale military operations, but can also metaphorically describe systematic efforts or struggles to accomplish a major task.
