Definition

停止抵抗，向对方屈服。

To stop resisting and yield to the opponent.

Usage

通常用于军事冲突或比赛中的认输，也可用于比喻放弃抵抗或接受失败。

Usually used for surrender in military conflicts or competitions, also metaphorically for giving up resistance or accepting defeat.

  • 1 敌军在包围中被迫投降了。 (The enemy troops were forced to surrender under siege.)
