Definition

繁体字是指汉字的一种书写形式,笔画较多、结构复杂,相对于简体字而言。主要在中国台湾、香港、澳门以及部分海外华人社区使用。

Traditional Chinese characters refer to a form of Chinese writing with more strokes and complex structures, as opposed to simplified characters. They are mainly used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and some overseas Chinese communities.
