Meaning

送别即将离去的人。

To see someone off; to bid farewell to someone who is leaving.

用于主人或亲友在离别时为即将出发的人送别，通常发生在车站、机场、码头等地点。

Used when the host or friends and family see off someone who is about to depart, usually at stations, airports, docks, etc.

1 他明天出国，我们几个好朋友去机场送行。 (He is going abroad tomorrow, so several of his good friends went to the airport to see him off.)
2 公司为退休的老经理举行了送行会。 (The company held a farewell party for the retiring manager.)
3 列车开动了，站台上送行的人群还在挥手。 (The train started moving, and the crowd on the platform was still waving.)
4 我来为你送行，祝一路顺风。 (I've come to see you off; wish you a smooth journey.)
5 离别时，送行的人依依不舍。 (When parting, the people seeing you off were reluctant to let go.)
