Definition

反着规定的方向行走或行驶;比喻逆着潮流或常规行事。

To go in the opposite direction to the prescribed one; metaphorically, to act against the tide or conventional norms.

Usage

常用于描述违反交通规则的行为,或比喻在困难时期挺身而出、逆流而上的举动。

Often used to describe traffic violations, or metaphorically for actions that go against the current, such as stepping forward during difficult times.
