To spend more than one's income or available balance; to overconsume resources or physical strength.

Usage

常用于财务领域,指账户余额不足时仍进行交易,如信用卡透支。也可用于比喻,指过度消耗体力或精力。

Commonly used in finance to refer to transactions that exceed the available balance, such as credit card overdraft. Also used metaphorically to mean overexerting oneself physically or mentally.
