Definition

结果补语“住”、“开”、“出来”用于动词后，表示动作的结果。

Result complements 'zhu4', 'kai1', and 'chu1lai2' are used after verbs to indicate the outcome of an action.

Usage

“住”表示动作使物体固定或停止；“开”表示动作使物体分离或开启；“出来”表示动作使物体从内到外或从无到有显现。通常紧跟在动词后。

'zhu4' indicates that the action fixes or stops something; 'kai1' indicates separation or opening; 'chu1lai2' indicates emergence from inside to outside or from nothing to existence. They are placed directly after the verb.
