Definition

不得不：表示由于客观情况或外力迫使，必须做某事，没有选择的余地。 只好：表示没有别的办法或更好的选择，只能这样做，带有无奈或勉强的语气。

不得不 (bùdébù): Means having to do something due to objective circumstances or external force, with no alternative. 只好 (zhǐhǎo): Means that there is no other way or better choice, so one can only do this, often with a tone of reluctance or resignation.

Usage

不得不：强调客观必然性，语气较强，常用于陈述无法避免的情况。 只好：强调主观选择的结果，语气较柔和，常用于日常口语中，表示退而求其次。

不得不: Emphasizes objective necessity with a strong tone, often used to state unavoidable situations. 只好: Emphasizes subjective choice as a result, softer tone, often used in daily speech to indicate settling for the next best option.
