Usage

通常用于句首或主语后，'除了'后接被排除或补充的人或事物，'以外'可省略或替换为'外'。否定句中表示排除，肯定句中常与'还'、'也'等连用表示补充。

Usually placed at the beginning of a sentence or after the subject. '除了' is followed by the person or thing being excluded or added; '以外' can be omitted or replaced by '外'. In negative sentences, it indicates exclusion; in affirmative sentences, it is often used with '还' or '也' to indicate addition.
