Definition
表示两个事物或情况的变化程度成正比,即一个变化时另一个也随之以相同的方向变化。
Indicates that the degree of change of two things or situations is directly proportional, meaning that as one changes, the other changes in the same direction.
Usage
用于两个分句,每个分句中都有一个“越”,后面跟形容词或动词,构成“越A越B”结构,表示A越发展,B就越发展。有时也可用“越来越”表示单一事物的程度变化。
Used in two clauses, each with a '越' followed by an adjective or verb, forming the structure '越A越B' to indicate that the more A happens, the more B happens. Sometimes '越来越' is used for the increasing degree of a single thing.
