Definition

使用短语或从句修饰名词时，在短语或从句后加“的”，形成定语结构。

When modifying a noun with a phrase or clause, add '的' after the phrase or clause to form an attributive structure.

Usage

该结构用于将较长的修饰成分放在名词前，以描述或限定该名词。通常短语或从句放在“的”之前，被修饰的名词放在“的”之后。

This structure is used to place longer modifying elements before the noun to describe or specify it. Typically, the phrase or clause comes before '的', and the modified noun comes after.

Examples

  • 1 这是我昨天买的书。（This is the book I bought yesterday.）
  • 2 穿红衣服的女孩是我的妹妹。（The girl wearing red clothes is my younger sister.）
  • 3 他给我的礼物很漂亮。（The gift he gave me is very beautiful.）
  • 4 在北京工作的人很多。（There are many people working in Beijing.）
  • 5 你想看的那部电影已经上映了。（The movie you want to watch has been released.）
