Usage

常見形式包括AA式（如：高高、慢慢）、AABB式（如：高高興興、快快樂樂）和ABAB式（主要用於部分合成形容詞，如：雪白雪白、滾圓滾圓）。重疊後的形容詞通常後面加“的”修飾名詞，或加“地”修飾動詞。

Common patterns include AA (e.g., gāogāo 'high', mànmàn 'slow'), AABB (e.g., gāogāoxìngxìng 'happy', kuàikuàilèlè 'joyful'), and ABAB (mainly for some compound adjectives like xuěbáixuěbái 'snow-white', gǔnyuángǔnyuán 'perfectly round'). Reduplicated adjectives are usually followed by 'de' (的/地) when modifying nouns or verbs.
