Definition

表示对某事的原因恍然大悟，不再感到奇怪。

Indicates that one suddenly understands the reason for something and is no longer surprised.

Usage

常用于‘难怪……，原来……’结构中，表示因为了解了原因，所以对结果不感到奇怪。也可以单独使用，放在句首或句中。

Often used in the structure '难怪……，原来……' to express that because the reason is known, the result is not surprising. Can also be used alone at the beginning or middle of a sentence.

Examples

  • 1 难怪他这么累，原来昨晚加班了。(No wonder he's so tired; he worked overtime last night.)
