以往，表示过去、以前的时间。

In the past; formerly.

Cách dùng

常用于对比过去与现在的情况，或描述过去的一贯状态。可置于句首或句中。

Often used to compare past and present situations, or describe a consistent state in the past. Can be placed at the beginning or middle of a sentence.

Ví dụ

  • 1 以往这个时候，这里总是很热闹。(In the past, it was always lively here at this time.)
  • 2 他以往从不迟到，今天却迟到了。(He was never late before, but today he was late.)
  • 3 和以往不同，今年的冬天特别暖和。(Unlike in the past, this winter is especially warm.)
  • 4 我以往没有学过中文，现在开始学。(I haven't studied Chinese before, now I'm starting.)
  • 5 以往的教训告诉我们，不能轻信谣言。(Past lessons tell us not to believe rumors easily.)
