公历纪元，以耶稣基督诞生年为公元1年，是国际通用的纪年体系。

The Common Era (CE), a calendar era based on the traditional birth year of Jesus Christ, widely used internationally.

Cách dùng

用于表示年份，常与数字连用，如“公元2024年”；在中文中常省略“公元”二字直接说年份，但“公元前”不可省略。

Used to denote years, often combined with numbers (e.g., '2024 CE'); in Chinese, the term '公元' is often omitted for years after the Common Era, but '公元前' (BCE) must be included.
