Định nghĩa

连词，表示让步或假设，相当于‘就算’、‘纵然’。

Conjunction indicating concession or supposition, equivalent to 'even if' or 'even though'.

Cách dùng

用于复句的前一个分句，提出一种假设或让步，后一个分句常用‘也’、‘还’等呼应，表示结果不受前面条件的影响。

Used in the first clause of a complex sentence to present a hypothesis or concession; the following clause often uses '也' or '还' to indicate that the result is unaffected by the preceding condition.
