A male Buddhist monk who has left home to practice the religion.

Cách dùng

通常指男性僧人，也可泛指僧人。在口语中有时也用来比喻不受世俗约束的人。

Usually refers to a male monk, but can also refer to monks in general. In colloquial language, it is sometimes used metaphorically to refer to someone who is free from worldly constraints.
