to start work; to begin construction or an activity.

Cách dùng

常用于工地、工程项目开始施工，或者工厂开始生产，也用于开始某项工作或任务。

Often used for the start of construction or a project, or the commencement of work.

Ví dụ

  • 1 新工厂将于下周一正式开工。 (The new factory will officially start operation next Monday.)
  • 2 这个大型项目已经开工了，预计两年内完成。 (This large project has already started construction and is expected to be completed within two years.)
  • 3 老板宣布今天下午两点全体开工。 (The boss announced that everyone will start work at 2 p.m. today.)
  • 4 春节假期过后，工人们陆续返回工地开工。 (After the Spring Festival holiday, workers gradually returned to the construction site to start work.)
  • 5 我们得抓紧时间开工，否则工期会延误。 (We need to start work as soon as possible, otherwise the schedule will be delayed.)
