A conjunction used to connect parallel words or phrases, equivalent to 'and' or 'as well as'; it can also indicate a range from one point to another in time or space.

主要用于正式书面语，连接两个并列的词语或短语，也可用于表示从某个时间到另一个时间，或从某个地点到另一个地点。

Mainly used in formal writing to connect two parallel words or phrases; it can also be used to indicate a time span or spatial range.
