为了取悦别人而做出某种行为或说出某些话，含有巴结、奉承的意思。

to curry favor with; to ingratiate oneself with; to flatter.

Cách dùng

通常用作动词，后接宾语，表示对某人采取讨好行为。有时也作形容词，如“讨好的话”。带有贬义或中性，取决于语境。

Used as a verb, often with an object, meaning to try to please someone in order to gain favor. Can also be used as an adjective, e.g., 'flattering words'. It may be derogatory or neutral depending on context.
